Mr. Mitchell is a successful oil and gas executive with a 34 year proven track record in the international arena with BP and Nexen. He was director and officer of Nexen International where he was responsible for global strategy, project execution and budgets. During his time with Nexen David identified, captured and built projects for Nexen in the UK and Norway North Sea, Latin America, West Africa and the Middle East. He is a proven negotiator, oil finder and developer, with strong commercial background. He is widely respected in the industry with an extensive international contact network with both international and national oil companies.

Mr. Mitchell received his B.Sc. Honours, Geology from the University of London and his M.Phil., Mining Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
